You can opt to use ride services such as Uber and Lyft or search for volunteer drivers. However, they’re not certified senior caregivers, only providing curb-to-curb transportation services. They won’t ensure your loved one gets into medical appointments or other destinations safely.
2nd Family senior transportation services will accompany your older relative to any destination and provide care for the duration of the trip until it’s time to return home. If you wish, your caregiver can ask questions and take notes at medical appointments, update online files, and brief you on the particulars.
