2nd Family, a family-owned business, began as a result of our own experience in searching for senior home care in Maryland for our own loved one: our grandmother. This was my first opportunity to use the services of 2nd Family and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. The care was easy to arrange, the responsiveness from the office staff was timely and the costs were all explained up front.
2nd Family was suggested to me by another care agency located in Baltimore. I called the 1st week of January to request help with my husband. He had spent 6 weeks in Sinai Hospital + 1 month in rehab. He remained quite deconditioned + preferred to care for him at home. After my 1st conversation with 2nd Family, their wheels started turning. Forms were sent for me to fill out, an RN was sent to our home to assess our needs and help for us was arranged within a week. I was impressed with the kindness + warmth I received over the phone but also with professionalism + efficiency. All of our caregivers have been attentive + motivated to help. We now have a consistent caregiver who we love. I know my husband is well taken care of when I leave the house.
Service was excellent from beginning to end. Nurses and Nurse Aides were top notch. App made it easy to use – changing schedule was a breeze. Nurse Aides always showed up on time and did a great job.
